Our Story
Welcome!
We are so glad you found us. The name "Lily Lemon" was inspired by my grandma Arlene Lillemon (aka grandma Lily) who was the matriarch that gave our family the creative gene.
Sewing has been part of my entire upbringing. My mom, Sandy, made my graduation dress, my prom dress, my show clothes while showing horses and of course many quilts. I'm 5' 1" (another trait I got from grandma Lily) so hemming pants was something else my mom, begrudgingly, has done a lot of throughout the years.
Our family also dove deep into scrapbooking throughout the years so having a quality work space is an important part of the creative process.
Yearly quilting retreats are a common "vacation" for our family (aunts + cousins), so we understand the retreat experience and what makes for a good retreat space.
I have a love for fabrics! Ugh, who doesn't have a stash of fabrics that were purchased just because? Life is short but the fabric stash doesn't have to be.
I also have a love for creating intentional spaces that make for memorable experiences. I'm blessed that my husband, Brett, supports me in many of my projects.
